This new locomotive passed through Silsbee, Texas's fuel track on March 18th before coupling to the MSSBHOU1-18A. It was built by Boise Locomotive works and Morrison-Knudsen, and can generate 1500 horse power from it's 16 cylendar Caterpillar Diesel Engine. It will be delivered to the CMC RR in Dayton, Texas sometime in the next two days. This photo shows the locomotives control stand. Note the lack of a radio. Visible through the windshield is Lynn Chance, engineer of todays MSSBHOU1-18A.
